What services do you offer?I offer the following services: Counseling: This is focused on addressing mental health issues, relational distress, skills development and personal growth. Coaching: Coaching focuses on learning and applying ACT skills to improve your life. This is primarily for mental health practitioners and graduate students but open to anyone. ACT Training and Presentations: For workplaces, groups, or churches. Each presentation is personalized, and pricing is based on the specific needs of your group. (i.e. ACT for Anger, ACT for Depression, ACT for Anxiety, Learn ACT). Contact me for a quote.

What types of insurance do you accept?I am currently in the process of being credentialed with multiple insurance providers. My accepted insurances will be updated regularly on my Headway profile. If you’re unsure whether your insurance is accepted, you can check directly through the booking link or contact Headway for verification.

Do you offer private pay options?Yes! If your insurance is not yet accepted or you prefer not to use insurance, private pay options are available. You can view my current rates and payment options on my Headway profile.

What’s the difference between counseling and coaching?Counseling: A mental health service aimed at helping you address psychological concerns, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. It is conducted under my license as a mental health professional (LMHC) and is only available to Indiana & Michigan residents due to state licensure laws. Michigan permits cross-state to Indiana clinicians via Telehealth. Coaching: A collaborative process focused on building skills and taking action toward your goals. Coaching does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions and is available to anyone, regardless of location.

What is Headway?Headway is a secure platform that helps streamline the process of booking therapy sessions, verifying insurance coverage, and managing payments. They handle all billing and insurance claims so I can focus on providing quality therapy sessions for you.

What is your cancellation policy through Headway?Headway allows each provider to set their own cancellation policy. My policy requires at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance – No fee will be charged. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session – A late cancellation fee may apply. No-shows (missed appointments without notice) – The full session fee may be charged. Since no session takes place in these cases, insurance cannot reimburse for the missed appointment, meaning clients are responsible for the full cancellation fee.

How do I request an ACT training or presentation?To request a training or presentation, please use the “Contact” form on my website. Share a brief description of your group’s needs, and I will provide a personalized quote and additional details. You may also email me at shaunhardie.com@gmail.com with your request.

Can I access any resources online?Yes! My website includes a resources section with downloadable handouts, tools, and links to topics discussed in my YouTube videos. Check back often for new content!

Are sessions held in person or online?All sessions are conducted online via Zoom, providing a secure and convenient way to connect with me from the comfort of your home. A Zoom link will be provided after scheduling your appointment.

How do I add a new question & answer?To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
